Icelandic actress Heida Reed is set to appear on TV screens in BBC/Masterpiece drama series Poldark next year, playing the role of series regular Elizabeth Chenoweth.

Reed has previously had a number of small roles on TV in Silent Witness, Jo and DCI Banks, and her stage credits include Top Girls, Summerfolk, The Winter's Tale and Cross Purpose. After signing to top US agency ICM Partners in late 2014, Reed has set out her intention to become a household name in the industry and looks ahead to landing more roles.
